Message	this might be a PITA but what if he where to buy the car back and completely part it out... i mean down to the bone. it would take some time i know but it could pay of in the long run. i missed the part "they took it when they looked it over" as posted above. when that happened to me i had the car towed to my house, pulled the mods, then let them deal with it. but when i had my wreck i knew my car was totalled without question. good luck halo
